From fitness classes to group and 1-1 Personal Training, along with Taunton's 1st open-air gym we have something to suit you in our awesome location at French Weir, Taunton. Ben has worked in the Health & Fitness industry for over 8 years building a vast amount of knowledge working across various gyms and Leisure centres. During this time he helped a variety of people with different goals, abilities and adapted each exercise to suit every individual. This is the ethos Applebees Fitness sticks by. We will not make you do exercises you feel uncomfortable to do, or cause you any discomfort. We will always be approachable, offer alternatives and develop training plans with you to create something you will enjoy, feel comfortable to do, but most importantly finally achieve your goals. We have separate group female and male changing rooms downstairs with lockers, showers and a private personal training client/disabled shower room.


We have a modern, spacious fitness class studio with panoramic views of French Weir Park and Long Run Meadow. You can also benefit from our private outdoor space next to the river through our PT studio.


We have a disabled parking bay immediately next to our PT studio along with an entrance ramp and lift to our fitness class studio


Our facility has unique timed keypad entry for clients, CCTV and motion sensors throughout.


The Weir Cafe offers a variety of healthy snacks, coffees and lunches 7 days a week from 9-5pm
