I am passionate about getting everyone moving no matter what your goal, your age, or what ever discomforts you may have, there is always a way to improve. We simply adapt and conquer. Mindset is the first priority and once I help you figure out what you want to achieve we put a plan in place to make it happen.
I have been in the Health & Fitness industry since 2012, and formed Applebees Fitness in 2014. Over the years I have worked with 1000’s of clients all at varying abilities and ages ranging from 12-98! I have helped many clients achieve many goals from reducing discomfort by correcting imbalances, sport specific performance along with weight loss & toning, but most importantly feeling better about themselves.
I specialised in corrective exercise as this seemed the missing link for clients transitioning from injury and physio, to effectively get back in to exercise or preventing injury in the first place. A lot of people experience discomforts due to poor posture from sitting at a desk or day or repetitive actions on one side. Simple corrective exercises have helped many clients reduce lower back and neck pain, increased mobility for wheelchair users and elderly in every day life. All experiencing reduced discomfort and increased movement in as little as 4 weeks.
Alongside Personal Training I am an on call firefighter based at Taunton Fire Station supporting the local community since 2014. We are a busy station and deal with a variety of incidents and are usually called out daily.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and taking part in outdoor adventure activities. I make sure to have focused family time each week with my daughter Heidi, wife Sarah and walks with my happy little cocker spaniel Tilly.
I love to be challenged and aim to tick a few things off my bucket list every year (although each year I keep adding to it!). I am also a big fan of obstacle course races and usually compete in my superman costume for every race. Take a look at our youtube channel for some videos.
